Its been a long time I am posting in this space. Today I wish to share about the app which helps me in downloading the contents from torrents in a better way and faster way. The app i am talking about is the site https://www.seedr.cc/ . The operation in this site is that if you paste the magnetic link of the torrents in the site then automatically it captures the torrent in the cloud space provided to you. from there you can download the files either through browser or through an external downloader such as IDM which considerably increases the speed. So this is rather a better way to download torrents if your uTorrent is not optimized.
This post might look like an advertisement but I am sharing this because it will be useful to many people who are actually looking to download large files through torrents and taking days and weeks to complete it. And the best part is it’s free till 2 GB for extra space you can pay a premium.
My Airtel App is the official mobile app which is available for Android in Google play store. As of now this is available with full features only for the Android users and soon will be available for the iPhone users. On using this what I found awe inspiring is that it is a collective service management app for all the services provided by the Airtel. Be it the recharge for the mobile or DTH or for the landline or for the broadband all I do in a single app in my phone. This actually made my job easy and keep tabs on all the occasions of the I have to take care for a month. To be more explorative I wish to point out three key features that actually suit my lifestyle to a T.
The first feature I wish to express is that getting alerts on the low balance, deadline for the bill and all the due date for the payments. Basically in the fast moving lifestyle of mine I regularly forget the bill payment or don’t keep tabs on how much I spend on the data. If the data pack is over and the data consumption is deduced from the main balance I have no clue. I am that much careless and some one like a mom has to do this job. My Airtel app does that perfectly. It reminds me when to recharge, be it low balance or the data consumption.
The second feature that suits me is Security of the payment. I do most of my payments electronically and that makes me hassle free and lets me keep no cash in my hand. I depend on the electronic money for each and everything but also I am afraid the money is accepted or not. Sometimes it might not reach the receiver and it will be still deduced from my account and this app helps me tracking my payment. Real time bill tracking is another big leap for the airtel app. This provides a great hand to the people who rely on electronic money to a greater extent.
The third and most important feature I love in the app is that the feature called Airtel Surprises. I may be a person working on a decent paying job but I am kid still in my heart and everybody are when it comes to surprises. Who wouldn’t love surprises? With every recharge an AirTel Surprise then imagine a guy who recharges his mobile, DTH and broadband. He will be drenched with surprises. That makes this outstanding from any other app. This i think is the key feature to my lifestyle of expecting surprises. I have to hand it to you guys, with just this surprise aspect you caught me whole. To explore more please to visit the link http://www.airtel.in/myairtel.
Just like Spock says to Kirk in two or more Star Trek Movies, “I have been and always will be your friend”. Every time it is said by Leonard Nimoy only for some reason. Let us keep the jokes apart. It is similar that always a friend gives us this situation somehow. We would have no other choice but to give our better than best to save our friend. When Spock says this to Kirk he saves the life of the captain by sacrificing himself. Like Spock in real life my friend Gokul always says that the needs of a friend outweigh the need of the self. I always wondered that is not logically possible because some situation comes when we outweigh our needs over our friend’s need and can still be reasonable.
One such situation came to me. As the readers might have known by now that I am a Karate Player and at school tenure Martial Arts was my primordial activity. I was performing quite well within my limit and tried my best to give the worth for every penny spent by my parents. At the year 2003 I was selected to participate in the international championship at Sri Lanka. I was one among the two who was chosen to represent the country in the invited championship. The competition was conducted among the close invitees from the countries of India, Sri Lanka (Host), Pakistan and few Asian countries. It was considered as a pride to represent the nation.
The saddest part at that time was I had differences with my coach regarding the participation of the match and my fighting style. He had logical reason to support his side and so do I. The association provided me a coach for the short tenure to keep myself fit to play the game. I found it a bit difficult to mingle with the new coach. The deadline is nearing and my ego didn’t let me to go my coach.
My friend who knew me more than what I know about myself. He came to me as a god sent rescuer. He trained me rigorously for one whole week. He cancelled all his classes which I am not aware of. I kept my passport in my house and I was shivering like anything. I had no other phone number memorized than that of his and I called to his home. At that time mobile phone was not available and when I called to his home the reply was he is not at home. In my house there is no landline facility. I thought that I had lost the golden opportunity just because of my careless attitude and I was blaming myself. I had only 35 minutes to enter into the airport and within ten minutes when I decided to go back I heard the voice of my friend screaming in the airport waving his hands with my passport. I was feeling like he is the god. He saved the day, all went well. What I failed to see is that he missed a couple of exams which he prepared for the whole year and the sole reason for that is me. One exam is because of the training and the other crucial one because he came to my home to check with my parents and noticed my passport in there.
If he didn’t give me the passport he would’ve cracked the exam and might enter into elite student’s list but instead he gave up a year’s work just to prevent the disappointment of a friend. This gave me the thought which I was mentioning in the beginning of the post. Truly friends are the sole pillars of life and they cannot be replaced. They are the house which gives you protection. This post is for the https://housing.com/ which provides the protection called house through a friendly manner. Check out the site to know more.
After a long time I had a chance to review a book in my blog, thanks to blogadda for providing the opportunity. When I saw that the book Ramayana Game of Life Book 2: Shattered Dreams was available for review I grabbed it. Still I honestly have to admit that I haven’t read the first book and asked a friend of mine who is an avid reader whether to continue or not with the second book as I haven’t read the previous one. The reply was positive and I went on to read the book. Beyond that every child must have heard at least one or another version Ramayana so deciphering what took place till the starting of the second part will not be a problem for any reader.
What intrigued me to read the book written by Subha Vilas is that what new thing the author going to offer to me from the n times told story. The new generation writers seem to have an obsession in retelling the mythological stories and epics. Some of them are pretty good too so I decided to read it and when I first saw the book the title Game of Life written exactly in the font and style of Game of Thrones. I literally read it as Game of Thrones (Has anybody did the same?). Then I had an impression that this might follow the narration of Song of Ice and Fire but thankfully the narration was simple enough to constitute a good retelling of the story.
The author has thanked all the versions of Ramayana and he clearly defines the differentiation factor of each book which brought me hope that this is not another retelling but should be a honest attempt and thus my journey begun. There is not much to say about the story which everybody knows. This book covers the period between the Dasaratha’s wish to bring Rama to the throne and start of Rama’s Vanvas(Exile) of fourteen years. The narration was smooth and stayed true to the crux of the tale Ramayana everybody knows partially. The highlight of this version is the addition of the footnotes to define some terminologies. The decision to make it as a footnote helps a new reader to skip the part and intrigue reader to explore the part. The Author clearly has idea to capture both the new readers and highly intrigued avid readers. I also liked the design of using the Pathuka symbol near the footnotes as an implication of footnotes. The flow is smooth and you won’t be disturbed by the footnotes if you want it to be a page turner. That was the biggest strength of the book. You can either view it as a page turner or a philosophical treasure up for new interpretations. Yes it gives you new viewpoint that is the story that held yugas ago still holds true. If you are much intrigued by now then you are the person to read those footnotes and give some work to the grey matter.
On the concluding note I wish to say that this book for the people who haven’t read the Ramayana and want to experience the reading of the epic in a simple manner. It is clearly evident that the author is more inclined towards the religious aesthetics and relevance of religion today. This is clearly seen in the book. I would suggest my readers to read from book 1. Last but not least after reading this I still felt that the title Game of Throne might have been well suited for this book.
We all are socially responsible who can’t bear the cross of being taught as the nation that is in the developing stage for a very long time. We cannot tolerate the injustice done to the people around us and to us. But are we raising our voice against it ? this is the big question that has to be answered. We are giving a lot of emotional talks but we are forgetting about the incident very soon. We are reluctant on talking about the remedial measures that has to be taken in order to fulfill what is required. It is time to talk, not murmur. We have been murmuring for a very long period. We are seeing a lot of events that are bringing shame to us, and we feel that we are helpless in that. why can’t we do something to change that?
We have to do whatever it requires to voice against the corrupted. We need the change but are we ready to be the change. There is a spark igniting inside everyone but how much of us are ready to make it into a wildfire? It is the time to ignite it. All we youngsters need is just a push. In the social platform we are ready to share our opinion and raise the voice against the people, authorities and whoever it is for the greater good of the nation and its people.
We have plenty of resources to empower our growth but are we utilizing it properly are the big question. In this I wish to share my thoughts on what is going on the education sector. Today as far as human resources is concerned we are at a top position in the world but we are still unable to capitalize it and use it for our growth. There is a gap that has to be addressed which is missing in the transformation of a student to a professional. The skill gap is going bigger and bigger even with the increase in technology. The increase in technology should help to fill the gap but rather it is increasing the gap. Our educational institutions are keen on Academics which is important but not so keen on the relevance of it in the job. An education can be said complete only if it succeeds in educating a lot rather than getting job and improve the herd behavior among the individuals. Each student has to question the existence of the system and ask the question that why are the choosing a course. This is the important part of one’s life and existence. When one starts questioning and speak up then the purpose of education is fulfilled.
Strepsils of Reckit Benckiser has taken the initiative of Ab montu Bolege with the hashtag #AbMontuBolega, this has the tag keep calm and speak up. This initiative is to make the people speak about the issues which we are just keeping calm and not speaking. You can find more about this in the following website http://www.abmontubolega.com/, as well as to find more about the Strepsils on Facebook and Twitter.
A healthy child makes home happy. Always children are special to every family, to be precise every individual. A home is incomplete without a child, but the same time the health of the child makes it a perfect home. A child plays major role in the growth of a family and it’s the child who makes the home happy. A home can be said as home sweet home only if the child in the home is happy. Making a child happy not lies with the mere satisfaction of the wants of the child but rather giving a child a proper care and health he or she deserves. Providing health to the child is an essential activity which every parent should take care of. It is not only defines the life style but also the life of the child.
The child’s health relies mainly on the factors such as physical exercise, required amount of nutrition and healthy life style. The physical exercise is a factor that the children take care of themselves unless and until they are provided with the luxury of the smartphones and tablets. The second factor and the third factor of proper nutrition and healthy life style are interdependent. Proper food forms the base of the healthy life style. The food a child intakes should contain all the essential proteins, nutrients and vitamins which should satisfy the need for the growth. The more natural the food is, healthier the child will grow. The child might give preference to the taste of the junk food over the rich nutrient food. It is the duty of the parents to make them understand the importance of the nutrient food.
Dabur Chyawanprash is one such product from the house of Dabur. It is a health care based food which is suitable for all age groups but particularly for the children. This product claims that it has clinically proved that it improves the immunity of a person. Today immunity is one the biggest concern regarding kids. The child is prone to all diseases due to today’s pollution. In order to protect the child from this pollution not only healthy vegetables help but also the Dabur Chyawanprash too. This product relies on instilling a healthy life style in the minds of many children. The parents can also make them understand the importance by the usage of Dabur Chyawanprash. I too had used this product at my young age. This product has taken an initiative to bring the health consciousness among the people by conducting various campaigns around. These campaigns mainly seemed to be focusing mainly on the online channel. This product is made based on the Ayurveda heavily. It is marketed as a product which promotes health over anything. India a developing country still has many issues persisting. The sad thing about it is the issues are not concerned about luxury but it deals about the essentials. This is a sad state for a country which is competing with the China to be the leader in all industries. Sanitation is not an important issue to be taken care of but it is the issue that had to be taken care of. Statistics says a lot about the lack of sanitation facility in our esteemed country. When the previous government’s environmental minister Mr Jairam Ramesh addressed the issues everybody laughed and yelled at him. Those are the same people who close their nose on seeing people defecating in public. These are the people who are detached from the other part of the country and thinks that they can live life easily.
We as a responsible citizen, have to take care of the essential problem and do our maximum effort to eradicate the sanitation problem. Our new government which is pretty old by now emphasized on the sanitation for all in their electoral agenda. The effect of the agenda might take some time and implementation of this big problem is not so easy either. Villages today are seen down with contempt for defecation in the open area. This is not a thing to be felt bad about village but urban people should feel ashamed of because all the infrastructure in city was once had its base in village. To provide them a basic infrastructure is a necessary work for the urban citizens.

I and my friend had a long obsession for a makeup test. No for sure, not for us wanted to try it on someone. So the dream was sleeping with great obsession under the thoughtful fingers of mine and my friend. We both in the mean time were helping some of our friends in some sort of stage shows in arranging and managing the event. Not big like the couple in Band baja baraat but a small with local drama troupe. Our pockets are bit okay with the work and of course heart was happy of the work. The thing which got us closer to the troupe is that we also criticize and help them in some scripts, tell them the audience reaction and the place where the jokes worked and where it isn’t. So that made us their permanent event manager to permanent show negotiator. This made us happy but still our tickling fingers wanted to taste the art of makeup. And the chance for the experiment came in accidentally as organizing for a show the artistes wanted few more minutes to get ready and we both were filling the time by anchoring and made some conversation with the audience. Then we asked some filler artiste from the troupe to fill the stage and we both went to the back stage to see what is really happening as the time was running. Then we came to know that the makeup artistes are unable to make to the show and they are on their way which may take an hour or more. But we don’t have the luxury of time so in order to make the show going I told them that we both can do the makeup as we are trained in it.
No one really knew what we are up to and with lack of original makeup kits what are we going to do was the big question to every one of them. So my friend went to nearby shop and bought all possible/ available creams, bars and powders. So now we had no idea about the kind of makeup they needed all we knew is one is going to play a demon with black coat as a costume, another a goddess with white gown and beyond this we have an American style to drama with a prisoner with Orange jump suit. Others are just normal people who doesn’t need much emphasize on makeup. So we finished them first so that they can start the play and in the mean while we can do the makeup for the leads. My friend took care of the goddess as she knew very well and wanted to design the goddess as a Lady Galadriel so obvious choice of my demon goes to Sauron. Unfortunately the goddess has pitch black hair and we are out of powders to make the hair white too. We had this white cream and a kind of black wig so I sprayed the white cream which was later identified as a facial scrub over the wig and made it look grey. My friend has the Lady Galadriel locket which she gave to the goddess and the white gown matched and our version of Cate Blanchet is ready.
The orange jumpsuit guy needed simple treatment as he was afraid of makeup and he requested to look natural which we felt fine and all we needed to do is make salt and pepper hair style of his black hair and I personally felt powder makes it worse so I wished for an alternative. Then it suddenly hit my head we call is salt and pepper why not ash which gives exact salt and pepper. So I applied some ash in his head and so the orange jump suit guy was happy not dipping and drenching with facials. Now the biggest challenge comes from Sauron. Yes the demon guy needs big makeover. So I decided to go for something radical in my way. I decided to apply for more kajal in his eyes and all over the face as his hair was already black. Accidentally I over applied the Kajal and so I have to fill the whole face with kajal and finally I got what I expected but I was tensed what the actor may say so I kept him off the mirror and took him direct to the stage.
We were sure that this will be the end of our ties and we need to go search for another troupe to hang out with. The future cannot be predicted and so the show went well and got much more applause for the performances and also the makeup. We both were surprised and they wanted us to do it for the rest of their shows. We denied the offer genuinely and reasoned that we cannot manage all aspects and they agreed. But you the readers know the reality of our makeup. But still we enjoyed the beginner’s luck.

With age comes health issues for every human. Today we need more tablets than the food we are taking. But beyond all these tablets, a Tablet is more important to them. A Tablet is one device which helps to prioritize his events of the day. A tablet to be is more important than anything. A tablet helps me in doing things which I always forget to do. The Tablet starts of my day with Shakespeare and Henry David Thoreau. Of course when I refresh and start my work Eagles assist me with their Hotel California in it. Once I reach the office need for the tab reduces as the work demands its importance. So when the work has its upper hand my Tablet takes care of the Social presence. I update my blog and tweets in a while. Status will be updated in handy while my work takes the entire load. Beyond Facebook and twitter the blog plays a big role. Tablet helps in managing the blog and at my free time I will prepare the contents as soon it hit my head. The scheduling makes it even nicer to publish at various times. The Tablet is like a Personal Assistant which reminds me my task and keeps me engaged. My task manager is my tablet. It makes me feel like I am the king.
What I want my tablet to do more is understand and recognize my pattern of working. Once it recognizes my pattern it can able to work on its own even if I failed to set some tasks. I want my tablet to be my silent guardian, a watchful protector, the dark knight of this kingdom less king. My tablet should give me my own territory and be my chief minister.
